Home & Family

Far from the peaceful escape pictured in most brochures, home is filled with busy people, busy lives, busy schedules. And increasingly, home is the workplace, whether it's as the head of the household, a telecommuter, or both!

Our family, both our close family and our extended family, can have a big impact on our lives, our time, and our attitudes. Managing around difficult family members, making sure everyone's needs are met, and maximizing the opportunities for our family to learn and grow are are all challenging. Our family is a special part of our team, one that may be harder to hire or fire, but is nonetheless important to manage and prioritize.

Velocity for Life teaches several important concepts that help, including what your personal strengths are and how those impact you at home, how to prioritize to make sure the most important people and things get the attention they deserve, and processes for making key life choices.
